MARKETING & FUNDRAISING INTERN

Duties and Responsibilities

\

Recruit groups and individuals for fundraising events

\

Assist with marketing and logistics for fundraising events

\

Provide support for on-going activities and programs including prospective research, grant writing support and program marketing

\

Develop social medial marketing, recruitment and event updates for events including Facebook updates, tweets and blog posts

\

Provide event participants with necessary documentation in a timely manner, volunteer FAQs etc

\

Develop and manage fundraising incentive programs

\

Attend and participate in event relative activities and meetings

General Requirements

Self-motivated, team player with the ability to meet deadlines, remain flexible and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to details as well as excellent problem solving abilities.
j

Excellent oral and written communication skills

j

Moderate experience working with social medial platforms (i.e Facebook, Twitter)

j

Have self-discipline and time management skills necessary to work independently.

j

Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically WORD and EXCEL

j

Have regular and consistent computer and internet access

Work schedule/Time commitment

Flexible schedule with ability to work evening and weekends as need.

Approximately 10-15 hours/week with exact days and times to be determined according to your school schedule

Compensation: This is an Unpaid internship
